CHR Gets The Green Light For Sustainable Swinton Park Project

CHR Foodservice Equipment has been called in to design and install a comprehensive, locally sourced eco kitchen at the prestigious Swinton Park Country Club and Spa at Masham in North Yorkshire.

Owned by the Cunliffe-Lister family since the 1880s, Swinton Park is a Four AA Red Star luxury castle hotel set within a spectacular 20,000-acre estate. Facilities include 31 rooms and suites, the award-winning Samuel’s Restaurant, a cookery school, a Bird of Prey Centre, nine hole Golf Course and the Swinton Bivouac luxury campsite and bistro café

Last year Swinton Park applied for planning permission for a 2,700m2 extension to incorporate a full-service Country Club and Spa with a 40-seat conservatory restaurant and a coffee shop. The £5.5 million project is now under way and CHR has been tasked with providing an eco kitchen par excellence for the Grade 2 listed castle.
