CHR Foodservice Equipment has woven its magic in the new kitchens at BEST WESTERN PLUS Pinewood on Wilmslow Hotel to such an extent that the executive chef vows he will never go back to traditional cooking methods.
The BEST WESTERN PLUS Pinewood on Wilmslow is a 70-bedroom hotel located in Handforth, Cheshire. The building, originally a manor house, was extended in the 1970s and became a hotel. Over the past few years it has been owned and run by BEST WESTERN PLUS, always with the intention to extend and refurbish when once again established.
After the hotel got the go ahead for a £1.4 million pound refurbishment, CHR was put in touch with executive head Chef Colin Starkey at the Pinewood by Justin Woods, the executive head chef at the company’s sister hotel BEST WESTERN PLUS Castle Green Hotel in Kendal. Justin had come across CHR when the company undertook an energy evaluation in his kitchen. This was after he found them on Twitter where he was hearing good things about CHR’s energy efficient Eco-chef cooking range.
