CHR Foodservice Equipment, commercial catering scheme designer and supplier, has been commissioned to fit out six individual restaurants on behalf of innovative dining concept, The Kitchens, Leftbank, Spinningfields. Over the next twelve months the six finalists will be judged by Spinningfields developer Allied London and The Kitchens board via a range of criteria including turnover, brand and overall concept. The winner will secure further backing, mentoring and investment from Allied London.
The finalists were judged by The Kitchen board, which comprises some of the country’s most esteemed hospitality experts with Bangers and Bacon, Chaat Cart, Hip Hop Chip Shop, Mumma Schnitzel, Wholesome and Raw and Yakumama chosen from hundreds of hopeful start-ups. Paul Neville of CHR was more than happy to take on The Kitchens project saying: “This is very much a local project by and for local people (CHR itself is just down the road at Preston) and we were determined to ensure we kept everything going into The Kitchens very much in that spirit.
