In order to be able to put together the scheme for Real Junk Food Manchester, we had to call upon our industry to help out.

Chef, restaurateur and long term CHR customer Simon Rogan is set to open Aulis London.
Simon has appointed CHR to work on the kitchen design with a view to recreating the Aulis restaurant in Cartmel that is currently the development kitchen for his two-Michelin-starred L’Enclume.
Having completed the design and installation of Aulis Cartmel, we are ideally placed to help Simon bring that vision to London – you can read a full case study of Aulis Cartmel here to see what that might look like.
Scott Walker of CHR says “We are over the moon to be able to continue to our close working relationship with Simon and to be able to start talking about this new project. Although I won’t be divulging exactly where it will be!”

You may have noticed that our website has been down for a while.
Well we’re back and here it is!! Please have a look around and if you have any feedback, good or bad, please let us know.
We have re-created the website to make it more user friendly, mobile friendly and (in our opinion) much sharper and better. We will be looking to add new content on a regular basis and will be using it to showcase the wide variety of work we carry out every year.
Part of that new content will include video case studies because trying to explain in words the multiple disciplines of designing, procurement, project management and installation can be almost impossible.
So for our first video case study, we asked Mark Birchall why he appointed us to handle the work at the impressive Moor Hall refurbishment, captured it on video and now it’s here for you.

CHR have invested in and implemented a new service software package. The new program enables Engineers to be paperless by responding and reporting on a digital platform! This means that reports, technical information and spare parts required to make a fix after diagnostics are done digitally! It will help engineers by reducing down time and cost! The new system will provide fully transparent customer “history” and help us manage the assets for our customers quickly and efficiently.

CHR agree that no Pre-Washing works
CHR embarked on a pot wash Journey to Sweden to do some hands on pot washing recently. After successful installations of Granuldisk machines in Marriot Hotels in Leeds, York and Leicester, we sent Scott “King of Potwash” Walker to get inside the technology and ideology of the minds behind the little blue pellet.
Scott said, “I’d like to thank the whole team at Granuldisk, it’s been a great insight for us and helps us understand the people and the quality. For CHR and Granuldisk, there already exists a lot of synergy when it comes to delivering a cost effective solution. The range of products can provide the operator with a very nice area in which to work and the investment will quickly become profit for the end user. In our continuing effort to make commercial kitchens more sustainable and eco-friendly, we have worked with various Marriott Hotels to provide Granuldisk solutions to their pot washing areas.”
While we were not involved in the supply and install down at the Heathrow site where these statistics were gathered, the following contains some fairly compelling figures as to the water savings possible.
