We provide a full installation service by our own time served engineers, which in turn provides a full on-site warranty and support of our products.
Everything we install is provided with a test certificate and we fully train your staff to operate equipment safely and clean properly meaning you achive 'best value'.
We leave operating , equipment and maintenance manuals with every item of equipment we provide, and provide options to extend warranty periods and preventitive maintenance to protect your investment

Installation

Proper installation and commissioning of equipment is essential, to ensure it works properly and effectively from the outset. We pride ourselves on the quality of our installation work, from an individual frier to a full turnkey project.
All our engineers and subcontractors are time served tradesmen, and all carry CSSC cards. Our project managers are SMSTS accredited.
We are members of Safe-contractors, gas safe, and CEDA (Catering Equipment Distributors Association), working to the latter’s exacting standards, and living up to our own personal CHR motto of "on time, on budget, and snag free"
Our years of experience give us the flexibility, experience and expertise to work alongside a main contractor, or act as principle contractor working with your agent, architect or estates department, project managing the whole contract from concept to hand-over.

How do you even begin to calculate the cost to your business of an oven breaking down in the middle of service? Obviously, there is the cost of getting it repaired, but what about the hidden cost- lost revenue that sitting, wages for staff unable to do their jobs because the meals can’t be served, and the intangible lost potential as clients talk about it....

And what about the cost of running equipment that is not working efficiently in the first place, because parts are worn? Just because the appliance is under warranty does not stop limescale building up- 1mm can build up in just a year, increasing energy consumption by 7.5%!

We don’t think twice about servicing or MOT’ing the car; the same should apply to your kitchen equipment- probably a more vital asset! Neglected equipment is a sure way to burn money.

A regular servicing and maintenance programme therefore actually saves you money, ensuring your equipment is working as efficiently as possible, well beyond its warranty and possibly even its life expectancy: one kitchen we installed almost 20 years ago is still delivering at least 1000 covers each sitting, without any equipment having been replaced, because it is serviced every year.

At CHR we understand your servicing needs: like a car which needs a service every X number miles/ months, so kitchen equipment needs a service every X number of hours it works. We provide a full, preventative maintenance contract to cover servicing and emergency call out, guaranteeing to be with you within 24 hours, with options to suit the demands on your kitchen and your individual needs.

Your equipment will work better, for longer, giving you a better return on your investment and reducing exposure to costly replacement capital costs.  You’ll achieve enhanced lifetime costs, lower fuel bills, and less impact on the environment. You gain the psychological benefit of ‘being green’.

Project Management

Every contract that has been placed with us will have a dedicated project manager, who will take overall responsibility of the project from its onset to hand-over. and works with our time served in house engineers.
Our responsibility includes:

  • Project co-ordination,  liaising with trades and resolving any drawing issues.
  • Management, advice and support on the latest Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Approved internal Health and Safety and Quality Policies to ensure that any installations meet all related certification and legislation.
  • Management of Installation and Commissioning using any one of our NICEIC and Gas Safe approved engineers.
  • Technical advice for all service-related issues.
  • Programme Protection, including critical path management.
  • CHR team holds skill cards, And the Latest construction site managers safety certification which means which has aided us in being pro active to reduce the  risk from construction sites
  • Asset tagging on equipment to reduce abortive calls and adds another measure to quality of products provided.
