CHR Equipment Ltd was established in 1993 as a family business
with a great deal of experience in the food service industry.
While the atmosphere and attitude of a committed family business
remain at the centre of CHR’s success, today the company’s
experienced team includes catering consultants, creative kitchen
designers, dedicated project managers and skilled engineers and
installers.
Some of our clients simply require a single piece of equipment
delivered to the door. Others need an entire kitchen designed,
supplied, project managed, installed and commissioned. Our aim
is to provide the very best value for money solution, based on
each client’s unique requirements.

Ron
Neville, Managing Director
Ron founded CHR in 1993 with his wife
Ann following a lengthy and successful career
in the commercial
catering equipment business including many
years as catering equipment sales director
for Masters & Andren and working on some
of the UK’s most prestigious catering
operations, including one of Marco Pierre White’s
first kitchens at the Hyde Park Hotel.
Approaching
his 40th year in the business, Ron remains
at the hub of the CHR management team
using his contacts and expertise to ensure commitment
to excellent customer service in all aspects
of the business.

Paul Neville, Sales Director
Paul
had several years’ sales experience
under his belt when he was asked to join the
family business 15 years ago.
As sales director
he is responsible for a team of six responding
to new business requirements
and ongoing support of existing clients.
It’s the long term client relationships
that Paul loves about CHR’s work, “In
1998 we installed a new cooking suite at a further
education college. Ten year’s later we’re
working on a new build project at the college,
and that same suite, which is still going strong,
will feature in the new kitchen design.”

Fernando Do Rego, Projects
Director
Another
industry stalwart, Fernando is a catering industry
veteran clocking up 20 years catering
design experience.
In his previous role as a servery
counter designer, Fernando worked closely with
CHR on many projects
and in 2004 jumped at the chance to join the
dedicated team.
As projects director he is responsible
for the team of installation engineers. Fernando
takes
pride in every project he works on, no matter
what size, and works to ensure CHR deliver quality
projects, on time, on budget, every time.

Matt Aspey, Design Manager
With a BA (hons) in Interior Architecture and Space Planning from Bournemouth
University under his belt, Matt joined the CHR team in 2001.
As Design Manager
he is responsible for the general running of the design office from ordering
in his colouring pencils to producing full colour
rendered visuals, service drawings and detailed
sketches – bringing our ideas to life for
the customer.
Matt particularly enjoyed working
on the Wigan & Leigh
College project which involved the design of
everything from a new sports hall to training
kitchen and restaurant.

Jim Hall, Estimator
With 14 years experience as a design draughtsman at various catering equipment
manufacturers, Jim joined the CHR team six years ago, as an estimator.
